With the programming I'm getting into, I know I'm going to need a bigger and better machine soon.
I installed a trial version of the HotDog web page editor, and even that it was hard going. Very slow---
Sometimes the .386 swap files get so large, with so little free space left on the hard drive, the whole
shebang just needs to shut down. I'd love to get a real top-of-the-line machine to do some serious work on. Realistically, I think I'll be in
the market for something like a G6-366 C, or a nice Pentium II that's been around long enough to have any bugs well
worked out. DVD, 10+GB Hard Drive, Zip Drive, and (! Quite Important!) a 56Kbps modem, as I'm still at 14.4 with
this puppy. I'm thinking something like the system at the right.
Peace. |
