Laptop Computers (sometimes called Notebooks) may be dead handy to take your office with you, but be warned: you're carrying some disadvantages in that bag, too.
Here are some points that Mick learned through owning his laptop.

Keep in Mind:
With a laptop, you're paying for convenience, not power. The same investment will give you a smaller screen than you would get with a PC, a slower processor, and so on.
Special designs are needed in order to fit all of the components into the slim cases. Each company has its own way of making them fit.
Consequently: it's not possible to open the cases, remove an old part, and install a new "off the shelf" replacement.
Generally speaking: Laptops cannot be upgraded and require trained professionals to fix most serious problems.
Though some of the techniques that you will learn can help to correct software-related problems, this course will not specifically cover laptop upgrade or repair.
